This Cookie Policy explains how we use cookies and similar technologies on our website and product. It describes what these technologies are, why we use them, and your rights to control their use.
Essential cookies
We set a small number of strictly necessary cookies that are required for the application to function โ for example, the session cookie that keeps you logged in, and a CSRF token that protects your account from cross-site request forgery. These cannot be turned off.
Product analytics
If you accept the cookie banner, we load PostHog on your browser to understand how the product is used so we can fix bugs and improve features. PostHog captures:
A pseudonymous identifier we generate for your account (we never send your password)
Pages you visit inside the app and on the marketing site
Product actions you take (creating a campaign, connecting a channel, etc.) and whether they succeed or fail
Browser metadata such as user agent, screen size, language
Workspace metadata (plan, region) so we can spot trends across customer segments
We do not enable PostHog's autocapture and we do not track you across third-party websites. PostHog data is hosted in the EU (eu.i.posthog.com) and retained for 12 months by default.
Session replay
With your consent, we record short anonymised replays of your session inside the application so we can reproduce bugs we couldn't otherwise diagnose. Replays are heavily privacy-filtered:
All input values are masked by default โ anything you type (passwords, emails, message bodies, contact details) is replaced with asterisks before the data leaves your browser.
Sensitive surfaces such as the chat inbox and message composer are excluded entirely from recording.
Replays are never recorded on the marketing site or for visitors who have not accepted the cookie banner.
Replays are retained for 30 days and only accessible to our engineering team.
Opting out
You can decline the cookie banner โ in that case PostHog is never loaded, no analytics events are sent, and no session replays are recorded. If you previously accepted and want to opt out, clear your cookie_consent cookie via your browser settings; the banner will reappear and you can choose differently. Authenticated users can also disable analytics from their profile settings.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as our product evolves. Material changes will be highlighted on the banner so you can review them.
